• Do I have to have any prior experience playing drums?

Absolutely not! A lot of my students were complete beginners when they started lessons with me.

• Do I need a drum kit?

​

No drum kit? No worries! Come join me at my studio (Portslade) I'll provide a drum kit for you.

​

• Am I the wrong age for drumming?

​

There are no age requirements or limits in drumming at all. I have taught students ranging from 6 years old to 60. It can be tricky with students younger than 6/7 years of age as they often need a specific drum kit, but there's certainly no maximum age.

• How far do you travel for home teaching?

​

I teach mainly in Brighton and Hove but I also have students in the surrounding areas. Get in touch and we can discuss what's best for you.
